This research article is based on action research done in Akole block of Ahmednagar district. It aims at promoting production of cereals, pulses, seasonal vegetables, fruits, milk and meat to meet the balanced nutritional needs of the people through local specific crop planning. The whole process involved in the study was monitored through using GIS RS tool.

W-CReS is looking for a Lead / Senior Researcher with interdisciplinary competencies and strong networks with national and international academia. The scholar is expected to be proficient in quantitative and/or qualitative skills and be willing to work with and guide young researchers in the organization. The candidate should have a background in Economics/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Institutional and/ or Behavioural Economics/ Hydrogeology/ Agro-Meteorology / Agriculture Science with excellent academic track record as well as publications in peer reviewed international and national journals of repute with at least 5 years of Research Experience.
