This article ‘Schwerpunkt: Selbstständigkeit sichern – und das Überleben in der Heimat’ published in the German Magazine by Elvira Greiner of Andheri Hilfe, describes the change she has witnessed in the lives of people. Sujaya Dangwar, WOTR’s project manager in Jharkhand RRC tells how soil and water conservation activities started the slow transformation in 16 villages in Jharkhand. The article also describes how Vimala, from women’s group have decided to use a diesel-powered plow and offer service to smallholder families. The project was funded by Andheri Hilfe.
