EbA Info-Brief Series #1: Adapting to climate change in India – the value of an ecosystem-based response

     

This info-brief is the first in a series of info-briefs from the project on Upscaling Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) to Climate Change in the Rainfed Regions of Maharashtra, India. Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) is the use of biodiversity and ecosystem services as part of an overall adaptation strategy to help people adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.

The EbA project is being jointly implemented with TMG Research, Berlin, Germany and is supported by the  International Climate Initiative (IKI) by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), Germany.
